Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

Can I see the exact second a video was uploaded?

Yes. We display the exact ISO 8601 timestamp from YouTube's API including the date, time down to the second, and the timezone offset. You can copy it directly with one click.

How accurate is the monetization status?

YouTube's public API does not expose direct monetization data. Our tool infers the most likely status based on embeddability, license type, made-for-kids flag, and public stats visibility — which are strong indicators used by creators and analysts.

Why are dislikes hidden?

YouTube removed public dislike counts globally in November 2021. The count is still tracked internally but is no longer exposed through the API or on the public site.

Does this work for private or unlisted videos?

Private videos cannot be accessed as the API requires owner authentication. Unlisted videos can be analyzed if you have the exact URL or video ID, as their metadata is publicly accessible via direct link.
