Short Version: Media Toolz is a privacy-first platform. All tools run directly inside your web browser. We do not require accounts, we do not log your inputs, and we will never monetize your personal data.
Welcome to Media Toolz ("we", "us", or "our"), accessible at mediatoolz.xyz. This Privacy Policy clarifies how our website operates, our strict limitations on data collection, and your rights when interacting with our free online utility platform.
By accessing Media Toolz, you agree to the transparent terms outlined herein. If you have any questions or require clarification, we invite you to review the detailed sections below.
Unlike traditional utility and marketing software that silently harvests your content, Media Toolz maintains a strict zero-knowledge architecture. We do not capture or store:
Video URLs & Slugs
Downloaded Thumbnails & Files
Usernames & Passwords
Payment or Credit Card Details
When you paste a YouTube link, extract video tags, calculate ad revenue, or format bio captions, that data is processed solely within your device's random-access memory (RAM) and vanishes immediately when you refresh or leave the tab.
Our software engineering philosophy centers around browser-level execution:
- Local Computation: Formatting, string parsing, timestamp conversions, character counts, and embed generators execute purely through client-side JavaScript.
- Direct API Calls: When tools request public social metadata (e.g. public channel information or public video thumbnails), the request is transmitted directly between your browser and the verified public endpoint (such as Google / YouTube public CDNs).
- No Intermediary Storage: Our web servers do not act as an inspection proxy or database store for the media assets you inspect.
We prioritize minimal, non-invasive analytics to monitor overall platform health and identify broken features:
- Google Analytics (gtag.js): Used strictly in aggregated mode to track page view counts, device types (mobile vs desktop), and general regional distribution. No personally identifiable information (PII) is associated with these statistics.
- No Cross-Site Profiling: We do not deploy advertising tracking beacons, behavioral fingerprinting scripts, or Facebook/Meta tracking pixels.
- Cookie Blocking: You may block all cookies using browser extensions or native privacy settings. Media Toolz will continue to function 100% properly without any restriction.
To deliver high-speed global performance, we rely on trusted industry infrastructure providers:
- Hosting & Edge CDN: Vercel Global Edge Network powers static page delivery and SSL encryption. Vercel processes standard server access logs (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) exclusively for security and DDoS prevention.
- Asset Delivery: Google Fonts and Cloudflare CDN serve open-source typography and Font Awesome vector icons efficiently.
- Public APIs: Where applicable, tools query official public endpoints strictly adhering to YouTube, Meta, and X developer terms.
Because our tools operate without user accounts, cookies, or remote databases, there is zero tool data to retain. Once your browser session concludes, all state variables and processed text are flushed.
In the event you submit an inquiry via our Contact form, your correspondence is preserved only as long as necessary to address your feedback or support ticket, after which it is archived securely or deleted.
We respect international data sovereignty regulations, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know & Access: You may request confirmation of any data we hold concerning your communications with us.
- Right to Deletion: You have the unconditional right to request the permanent erasure of any contact messages you have submitted.
- Right to Opt-Out: Since we never sell or share consumer data for commercial gain, no "opt-out" mechanism is necessary — privacy is built-in by default.
Media Toolz is designed for general audiences and digital creators. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or process personal data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 within applicable European jurisdictions) in compliance with COPPA.
If a parent or guardian discovers that a child has provided us with personal contact information, please notify us immediately for prompt deletion.
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new browser security standards or statutory requirements. When updates occur, the "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be amended accordingly. Continued usage of Media Toolz constitutes acknowledgment of the prevailing policy terms.
